We will be having our celebration at The Penthouse Hyde Park, Chicago! Located at 5107 S Blackstone Ave, Chicago, IL 60615, the venue is a 15 - 30 minute drive (depending on traffic) from downtown Chicago. We hope our guests can arrive by 4PM, and our Nikkah Ceremony will start on the terrace at 5PM, followed by dinner and celebrations! In the travel & lodging section, we have some details for guests flying in for the event.

If your invitation includes a guest, then yes! If not we would prefer it was just you.

If you want to book a parking spot, please let Aimen or I know ASAP as parking is limited. Alternatively, we encourage guests to arrive via Uber, Lyft, or any ride-share app. For the guests coming from out of town, we are providing a shuttle from Hotel Arlo.

We will serve traditional south asian food in a buffet-style! There will be a variety of vegetarian as well as halal non-vegetarian options.

Our event theme is light pastels & ivory. South Asian clothing within that color palette is encouraged. However, guests can wear whatever they feel the most comfortable in (ex. dresses and suits also work). For our non-South Asian friends, please message us if you need help choosing outfits.

The Nikkah is the Islamic marriage ceremony, whereby the couple legitimizes their marriage in the eyes of God by signing the marriage contract in the presence of an Imam, friends and family.
